About us

Would you like to drink a Cuban Mojito, dance away with the Buena Vista Social Club, swim in the Caribbean sea, or perhaps, go on a stroll around the colonial cities?

What if we add to that experience a motorcycle ride around the island to mingle with locals and !!!!! their traditions?

Perfect, *mi amol! We're Tropikvedeta and the motorcycle is here, wating for you!

Hey, hold on a sec! You’re not a motorcycle fan? It´s totally fine! *No pasa na'!

If you´re into photography, we have a contest in February, Foto Al Vuelo 2023, and birdwatching tours.

Looking for adventure? Go scuba diving in María la Gorda (The Fat María), not the skinny one! Or do you prefer trekking? If so, get a glimpse of heaven by climbing Pico Turquino.

Get lost in the right place!

(*) Here are some typical expressions to understand the locals before arriving to Cuba:

* “mi amol”: An expression of affection to communicate with someone kindly, in a friendly manner, even if that someone is an unknown person. In addition to Cubans, affectionate people tend to switch the letter «r» for the letter «l».

* “No pasa na’ ”: means ´no problem´. Usually, locals simplify sentences by leaving out words or letters. In this case, «na’» comes from «nada» meaning nothing.

* “Llegando a la concreta”: An expression used to say `in a nutshell / in short / in summary´. It´s common to use in phrases or colloquial sayings between locals.

* "¿Te quedaste bota’o?”: An expression used that means ‘Did you understand?’ Another example of leaving out words or letters is with «bota´o» derived from «botado». Usually, the letter «d» is omitted for phonetic reasons.
